Vinyl Flooring: your questions answered
What is the difference between vinyl and LVT?
Sheet vinyl comes on a roll and is fitted as one piece; LVT comes as individual planks or tiles. Sheet vinyl costs less and is seamless; LVT looks more like the real thing and is tougher.
Will vinyl show the floor underneath?
Cushioned vinyl hides small imperfections better than LVT, but ridges and loose boards still show through. We prepare the subfloor where it needs it.
Can you fit vinyl around a toilet and basin?
Yes. Bathrooms and WCs are cut and fitted around the pan and pedestal. Removing and refitting the toilet is a plumbing job, so tell us when you book if it needs to come out.
