Cookie policy

When you first visit, a cookie box asks whether we may use Google Analytics. Analytics does not run, and Google is not contacted, unless you choose Accept. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. We do not use advertising cookies.

Strictly necessary

• pm_quote: a session cookie set only when you open the quote form. It protects the form against cross-site request forgery and spam, and is deleted when you close your browser.
• pm_consent: remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we do not ask on every page. It lasts six months and is then deleted. It is not used to track you.

Analytics, only if you accept

• Google Analytics (G-FT48P689MT): measures which pages are visited, on the live website only. Google sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_FT48P689MT. Rejecting analytics, or choosing Reject later in Cookie settings, stops new measurement and clears those cookies where the browser allows it. Google's own policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

On your device only

• pm-quote-draft: the quote form saves what you have typed in your browser's local storage, so a half-finished request is not lost if you leave the page. It never leaves your device unless you send the form, and is cleared when you do.

Links to other sites

Links to Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps take you to those services, which have their own cookie policies. Nothing from them is loaded on this website until you follow a link.
