Waterproof and pet-proof
Spills, paws and wet shoes do not bother it, which is why it has become the default for kitchens, hallways and extensions.
Prime, screed, then fit
LVT shows every bump underneath it, so the subfloor is primed and screeded first. This is the step cheap quotes leave out.

Wide plank, herringbone or tile formats, with borders and feature strips if you want them.

Damage one plank and it can be lifted and replaced rather than relaying the whole floor.

Is LVT better than laminate?
For anywhere that gets wet, yes: LVT is waterproof and laminate is not. LVT is also quieter and warmer underfoot. Laminate usually costs less, so it still makes sense in bedrooms and low-traffic rooms.
Does the floor need screeding first?
Nearly always something is needed, whether that is a latex screed, a ply overlay or filling. LVT is thin, so anything uneven underneath shows through to the surface.
Can LVT go over underfloor heating?
Most LVT can, within a maximum floor temperature. We check the product against your heating system before ordering.
How soon can I walk on it?
Click LVT can be walked on straight away. Glue-down LVT needs the adhesive to cure, usually about a day, before heavy furniture goes back.
